Tibbetts Point Lighthouse marks the entrance into the St. Lawrence River from Lake Ontario, and utilizes the only classical fresnel lens still in operation on Lake Ontario.

  • French Festival

    July 12 - 14

    Each year the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse Historical Society enters a float in the parade. The Society enjoys supporting the French Festival parade and being part of this wonderful community event.

  • Jean Cougler Ice Cream Social

    Sunday, August 11

    Every August, to celebrate National Lighthouse Day and to honor the memory of Jean Cougler, the founder of the event, we sponsor a free ice cream social.
